SECOND STAR
a little homage to my Fav Disney, Peter Pan.
I believe the phrase is something like 'Second Star to the Right, and Straight on till Morning'.
Lots of detail in this Blue Cat Series painting.
partial images of stamp with clock, flourishes near the center of the dial, many layers of transparent Acrylics, oil pastels add shading, magical shimmery fairy dust and special effects.
Very dimensional and charming, a lovely one-of-a-kind
Loralai Original Art.

New Painting in the Blue Cat Series
Available on ebay, member: ArtObjects

These are new 16x20 canvas efforts in collage. One has a whimsical, country style, while the other is darker and has a gothic, yet very feminine feel. Also, it has an embedded design that glows in the dark! The tops of the frames have a bunched, knotted fabric piece that adds just the right finishing touch! Will be for sale locally in December. Get it Here, Now! email me or leave a comment! loryia.bond@gmail.com.

I like this new Fairy painting. The flying feeling is so genuine, and the metal star charms I paid too much for were just right for this painting.

The 'fence' is really a kind of Stamp. Oil Pastels made all the difference, I like their smudge-ability. This is on ebay.

A pic of my living room shows how this might look in yours. This is actual size, not a digital representation.

The size is 18x24, and the support is stretched canvas on wood frame.

'Moonlighting' Vintage Witch Folk Art Painting - NEW !!

She has a pretty face. The Moon is scrubbed
in with a damp sponge. The stars are srubbies too. The background color is purples and white
with a medium blue on top. The semi-opaque black
lets the background colors show through a
little. Its a big 30" tall Vintage recycled Cabinet
Door. Like it??

New MERMAID Pins !! Sparkly Wearables for All you Mermaid Lovers

2 of my favorite words, Cute & Sparkly, describe these little Mermaid Brooches! To Die 4 on recycled super stiff cardboard, which used to be packing material that came with some transfer sheets (i think..) Cutting is the tricky part, cause if the board is bent, its integrity is lost. But I have a good deal of fun with these cuties. Wait till u c the next ones!!!! You'll just Scream !!!!

Christinia's Escape

I finished this painting for my Sister today. I am so glad to do this for her.. she has mentioned this idea several times over the years, but i couldn't get a vision of it. Now i think i am happy with this painting. It is done on an old wood cabinet door, in watery acrylics. The sky and sea colors are called Caymen Blue and Turquoise. I used real sand in the fore and a wood sun cut-out. Sanding produced highlights, and the salt shaker and sail on the boat are left unpainted except for the base coat. I hope she finds it a relaxing oasis for many years to come. Maybe one day She will go to Mexico.
