This is what I've been working on -

These paintings are of my Dream Girl Collection and 2 Folk Art Flowers I intend to take to my next Sale.  Matching printed Jewel Boxes and Tote Bags will look really Splashy at my booth.

The Dream Girls are doing pretty well on eBay.  I am SO happy to have SALES! But I also need to take about a half dozen of these to the Sale, so when one is gone it has to be replaced.  So, I gotta get back to work - PLEASE feel free to COMMENT on any Post, or contact me at admin@loralai.com or loryia.bond@gmail.com !!

Abstract FOLK ART Flowers

Let me tell you, these little doozies were ALOT harder to paint than I thought they'd be! Dont kids finger-paint flowers when they are like 4 years old? Well, kudos to the kiddos, because I felt like crying several times.  Then I got all flustered and wanted to give up and start a whole new canvas, so I pulled a new one out and promptly poked a big hole in it just trying to get the plastic packing off of it.  Luckily, my hubby was able to restretch a new canvas on the frame, so all was not lost.  But These may be the last of the Abstract Folk Flowers.  OK Maybe one more.
Then I'm painting another Mermaid for Amy.

2 Mermaid Paintings for Amy

These are titled 'Someday My Prince will Come'
and 'Siren and the Seahorse'
I went outside on the patio to take these pics. There just is no substitute for Natural light.  The 'bubble' has been enhanced with additional shading per the buyers request.  I am alway open to suggestion, and since I paint like 8 hours a day, plus Internet time, I sometimes get lost in the 'forest'.  I am also working on some more abstract stuff, and therefore jump from one style to the next.  But my idea was to leave the Castle totally bright and visible, but this is fine too.
Wanted to do some dark hair, as it contrasts nicely with the sea colors.  My own hair changes color alot too. :)

This is my new Mixed Media painting. I really like these dollies. The effect is what I call 'Dreamy', like an image recalled from a dream, not completely solid, kind of floaty. I hope u like it too. LMK what u think, and if u would like to buy this dolly. It is 12x12x1 inch, on canvas. Sides match the front. Signed and sealed with 100% white beeswax. admin@loralai.com or loryia.bond@gmail.com.

Mermaid Photo Mosaic Style Seaglass framed

OK one more slideshow. U can use this 2 !

I love Slideshows

It might be MY fault.....

This is just a bitch session. I say that because I've come to the semi-conclusion that part of my Life is a GIANT MESS, and in the back of my mind, I know its all my fault. I dont wanna totally admit it, because I can think of absolutely NO WAY to solve the problem..........................ITS MY ART ROOM!!!!! ITS A TOTAL DISASTER AREA!!!!!! Over the last several years I've moved to a larger area, and it got SO crowded up that I only had a TEENY WEENY little area to actually paint in. THEN a kid moved back home and I was relinquished to a MUCH smaller area! OMG!!!! Now I lose things ALL the time and have to buy NEW because there is just almost NO possibility of finding them anytime soon! IT IS TOO AWFUL to even take a pic of.

My daughter the Wise-Cracker says 'Mama this happens no matter what room you use.' WELL!!!

And not only that, but there is Art stuff in almost every room in the house. And this part almost makes me start cryin'..........TODAY I THOUGHT ABOUT CRAMMING SOME IN THE TRUNK OF MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!hmmm I could try to sit in there and paint too................

Elvis is my Inspiration! Cat Art by Loralai

This is my new Folk Art Cat Painting. It is inspired by my good old kitty named 'Elvis'. He is 13 years old now. He is truly the King of all Cats. Even though he is getting up there in age, He still rules the roost!

Acrylics and Oil Pastels with glazes and even some transparent glass paint are used in the Artwork. Butterflies are rub-on types, and the support is a nice sturdy 18x24 inch Canvas.

I think I'll take this one to the next Art Show.

RockYou Slideshow!

I like this new Fairy painting. The flying feeling is so genuine, and the metal star charms I paid too much for were just right for this painting.

The 'fence' is really a kind of Stamp. Oil Pastels made all the difference, I like their smudge-ability. This is on ebay.

A pic of my living room shows how this might look in yours. This is actual size, not a digital representation.

The size is 18x24, and the support is stretched canvas on wood frame.

ART TOTES - Now they're Ready!

I am now happy with my Original Art Totes. There ended up being a little sewing involved, which I found excruciating, but it was worth it to get this result. I think $15 is very reasonable, and these are really sturdy too. A hand wash in cold and hang dry. Last for years. Use for everything, 13.5x13.5x2.5. I added my Art Logo and signed the back in sparkly black fabric marker.
