Phoenix Phair - a TOTAL Success !! !!

I had SUCH a Great Day ! Phoenix Phair was really fun.  I have NEVER met so many Sweet, Wonderful People.  All the months of Work was really worth it. Especially the Kids, when they like my Art, I get really emotional.  One young lady bought a pink Mermaid painting, and I hope I hear from her again.  A Love Spell Lady Bug went to Katelyn who is 9 months old! and several wonderful Moms are decorating their little Angels rooms with new Loralai Art.  I am SO thankful to all the people who picked up a Business Card or bought a Painting or Card or Box.  I hope to hear from them again, and the lady who painted her Kitchen a Dusty Lavender color - I have alot in common with Her!

Y'all email me and send a pic so I can see where my Paintings live now.  I am always happy to do Special Requests,  a Family Portrait or 3 Sisters would be really Fun.  I will hunt for those paper mache houses to decorate to match your lavender kitchen.  Just LMK, and God Bless You all.

Gee Whiz.

I sure would like to settle on a coupla really cute ideas a pull together a final draft of my total artistic presentation. I seem to toddle between this and that. I like so many ideas, its hard to decide on just a few things. I have the Paintings, a little altered art, made some herbal sachets with prints on them, handsewn. Bought some pinbacks and now i might get some polymer clay and cabochons and make prints on polymer and cover with clear cabochon. If i can find some clear ones that are a good size that is. I buy seaglass in bags and use the big pieces for pendants, but then i'm left with a TON of seaglass pieces that i have no use right now for. Having a little left over is O.K., but soon i'll have 20 lbs of seaglass and no way to recoup the cost of it. I also have paper mache boxes and wood boxes, and a couple of Cuban cigar boxes that I turned into jewel boxes in a Mermaid theme. They are still on Etsy.

So I hope i get a 'ping' (my subliminal messages) about which way to go. Gemini is the Twins, so we have a hard time agreeing on Anything. :)

fairyartbyloralai found a really Cozy Mystery!

M.C. Beaton has a 2 series of mysteries. One is the Hamish MacBeth Mysteries, the other is the Agatha Raisin Mysteries. Both are delish, but the one I read last is Agatha Raisin and the Fairies of Fryfam. Takes place in Northern England in the Winter. Has fairy lights twinkling in the frosty night. LOVED it, and all of the books by this lady.

The World of ABBY BUTTONS !

I have a name now for the red-head fairy: Abigail Buttons! I finished a series of painting with her holding her animal pals, now i'm off to explore the rest of Abby's World! I'm interested in doing a Summer show locally, so I'll be working hard to get my inventory together. BTW, dolls and boxes are out, fairy wands, tote bag kits, embellished notecards and framed prints are in. I hafta make sure I really love everything i'm doing. If it starts to be mundane or I find myself dreading a project, then I simply drop it, change it and move on. The vibes must always be positive so I end up with a Fun, Happy Abby.

Here are 2 more Fairies ! The Red one has denim stars, fabric and paper mermaid 'scales' and a red fabric bow. The wings are from the curtain i found at the Thrift! She WANTS to be a Mermaid, with her funny fake tail !
The next is called 'Life is a Garden of Daisies'. I really love daisies, and so does this Fairy Gardener. I made a Jewelry Box to go with this one, but i dont have a pic of it yet. I like the primitive kitty at the bottom. He's very curious. The Sunshine has glass beads and a little gold glitter.
I was up at 6:30 am working on the Art. It really consumes my life. My hubby took me to the movies this evening. We saw 'Madea goes to Jail' ! It was hilarious - the Madea parts - but some was sad. I cried a teeny bit but I didnt let the Old Man know it. He thinks I'm tough. SIKE!!
But the whole time I was thinking what to do with this really skinny tall Cabinet door I bought today.....hmmmm.........
