BOHEMIAN BLUE
Really felt like a mixed media, and I got a package in the mail
from one of my favorite artists
who lives near San Francisco
and sent Art Mags, papers, Travel, etc.
One of the papers is called the North Bay Bohemian.
The altered art I use in this creation is the cover
of one of the issues.
I love to use OOAK items in my collage.
Lots of pretty items in this one include some shiny violet fabric,
 a fringe of pearly hearts,
matching pearly buttons
and sheet metal - a find from Habitat for Humanity's ReSale
store.
Much more, you just hafta see it!
This is on my personal eBay auction page,

The Kitchen Windowsill is a perfect place for displaying variety of plants and flowers. A rosebud could stand in a slender vase, right beside a sprig of ivy, a tomato seedling, or a Venus Fly Trap!  These 2 Art Cards (ACEO) are part of my Series called 'Kitchen Window'. My inspiration is easily seen all around the neighborhood, where a plethora of knick-knacks, potted plants, vases, keepsakes, family photos and more adorn each and every Kitchen Window.

These will  be available on ebay at member: FindFolkArt (FFA). Also, if you want to contact my email, I'm sure we can arrange a sale! ;)  Acrylics including metallics for extra shimmer, glass paint, ink and stamps are used to create these Canva-paper Originals.

2 Mermaid Paintings for Amy

These are titled 'Someday My Prince will Come'
and 'Siren and the Seahorse'
I went outside on the patio to take these pics. There just is no substitute for Natural light.  The 'bubble' has been enhanced with additional shading per the buyers request.  I am alway open to suggestion, and since I paint like 8 hours a day, plus Internet time, I sometimes get lost in the 'forest'.  I am also working on some more abstract stuff, and therefore jump from one style to the next.  But my idea was to leave the Castle totally bright and visible, but this is fine too.
Wanted to do some dark hair, as it contrasts nicely with the sea colors.  My own hair changes color alot too. :)

NoteCARD Original Art - Send it or FRAME it !!!

CHECK OUT these new Notecards ! I am phasing out my other items on Etsy, so I can concentrate on making this a Notecard/Print shop. I can turn any of my Original Paintings into Printed cards, which have a little white border, perfect for framing ! High quality inks will last a really long time, so Buyers can display these Original Artworks for many years, or send AS a gift - no Card needed. These are just a few of the offerings, so check out my Etsy store (link in margin). They are SOOOO reasonably priced, so take several - the Holidays are a'comin' !!!
My hubby had to make a new template to print these cards. He was like 'NOOO problem little lassie.' He didnt say lassie but I was at the Irish Festival over the weekend. But then it WAS a bit of a problem and he had to sit there working on it for like ever. He works on computers all day so I know he was hating it. He finally got it to work, half an ink cartridge later. Well, so I thought.......
When I went to print the cards myself, ka-blewie. It wouldnt even let me in the document. It was like viewable only, not editable. SO, I had to call hunny-bunches-of-oats out of the bedroom where he was watching 'The Day After Tomorrow' again, and He had to print all of my cards out. Well, alot of them anyways. Then he proclaimed this was the last one for today, so I will have to weasel him into doing it again for me REALLY SOON. But He doesnt know HOW Soon !! Hee hee hee ..........!

Gee Whiz.

I sure would like to settle on a coupla really cute ideas a pull together a final draft of my total artistic presentation. I seem to toddle between this and that. I like so many ideas, its hard to decide on just a few things. I have the Paintings, a little altered art, made some herbal sachets with prints on them, handsewn. Bought some pinbacks and now i might get some polymer clay and cabochons and make prints on polymer and cover with clear cabochon. If i can find some clear ones that are a good size that is. I buy seaglass in bags and use the big pieces for pendants, but then i'm left with a TON of seaglass pieces that i have no use right now for. Having a little left over is O.K., but soon i'll have 20 lbs of seaglass and no way to recoup the cost of it. I also have paper mache boxes and wood boxes, and a couple of Cuban cigar boxes that I turned into jewel boxes in a Mermaid theme. They are still on Etsy.

So I hope i get a 'ping' (my subliminal messages) about which way to go. Gemini is the Twins, so we have a hard time agreeing on Anything. :)
